Have you always wanted to be on the controls of a jet-powered helicopter?
How about an Introductory Lesson?
On the ground, our friendly flight instructors teach you the basics of “How to fly a helicopter”.
In the air, you learn to master the power of a Eurocopter EC120 helicopter!

Starting from $1,500.00 in our Eurocopter EC120. One hour ground school and one flight hour included.

• One of the only companies in the US offering Intro-Lessons on a jet-powered helicopter

  Eurocopter EC120?
• Makes a great Gift Certificate

How can I prepare for this flight lesson at home?
No preparation is required, however, a basic understanding certainly helps a lot. We recommend to read the Rotorcraft Flying Handbook, FAA-H-8083-21, ISBN 1560274042.

How are you going to prove to your friends you have flown this helicopter yourself?
No problem, just bring your friends along for the ride!
You may take up to three passengers along.

Are there any restrictions for the student?
You must be in good health. Weight limit is 300lbs (136kg). Please, no alcohol 12 hours before lesson.

What are the age requirements for helicopter lessons?
There are no age requirements, as long as a minor (under 18) is accompanied by an adult, and the adult is on board during the lesson.

Are the lessons available daily?
Yes, daily at Beverly Airport.

Are both the ground and air portions of the lesson completed in the same day?
Yes, the ground lesson is the preparation for the flight lesson. Both are one hour each. All together, it will take around half a day.

Note: We do not offer primary flight training (getting your license). Please contact our chief pilot Roger Brul, roger@bostonhelicopter.com, cell 617-319-1316, or visit www.helicopterlife.org for more information on how and where to obtain your license.
